We are excited to now have most of our winter events locked in for the season ahead!
With over 28 on-snow events this year, there are loads of favourites returning including Night Skiing & Boarding, Wombat’s Rambler, Demo Days, Storm the Park Slopestyle, Summit Masters, Pond Skim and more.
Following a successful debut freeride event last winter, Falls Creek is proud to officially join the global Freeride World Tour Junior circuit for the first time in 2026! This sanctioned FWT Junior 2* event is part of the 2027 FWT season and will be held on Saturday 8 August at Falls Creek.
Retro Weekend is back on the calendar to align with Summit Masters on the 5-6 September. We’d love everyone’s help to bring this to life with colourful outfits and retro-themed après across the resort that weekend if possible!
We’re excited to be bringing Fireworks Fiesta back to Falls Creek this winter in the Village Bowl. This season, we’re timing the displays with the highest-visitation periods of winter and running them during the July school holidays (Thursday 2 July, Thursday 9 July and Thursday 16 July), and again in the first week of the September school holidays (Thursday 24 September).
By focusing the fireworks across key school holiday periods, we’re aiming to maximise atmosphere, crowd engagement and flow-on benefits for businesses at a time when families and children make up the bulk of our guests.
It is also fantastic to be sharing the après events happening around the resort on our website. If you have any weekly or one-off après events planned for the season that haven’t already been published, please let us know so we can add these to the calendar! This could be weekly happy hours, live music, food specials or other après events. If you would like your event to be included, please send through a short summary, the event dates / times, and any relevant images you have.
